This course will be a thorough explanation of bone morphology, Osteogenesis, Osseoconductive and Osseoinductive materials. Covering the basic biological knowledge behind the bone augmentation. Learning the surgical techniques available for bone grafting for a future restoratively driven implant placement.
Learning Objectives:
1- Dentists will gain a better knowledge on indications for bone augmentation.
2- Participants will be able to evaluate and treatment plan bone augmentation cases.
3- Better understanding to choose between an Osseous reconstruction VS shorter/smaller implant
4- Explore the available bone graft materials and barrier membranes.
5- Learn about the bone augmentation techniques for guided bone regeneration
