Private practice dentistry has evolved from treatment planning that is centered solely on the treatment of disease to plans that are often centered on quality-of-life services that are discretionary. The ideal case presentation technique for this new paradigm requires carefully coordinated efforts that involve different members of the office team.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participants will be able to understand the difference between the treatment planning of immediate needs and comprehensive treatment planning.
Upon completion, participants will be able to determine if a new patient only wants their health concerns addressed or if discretionary services are also desired.
Upon completion, participants will be able to maximize the probability that a patient will say yes to all services the dentist feels are in a patient's interest.
