Renata Nehme, RDH, BSDH, COM®, is a dedicated Registered Dental Hygienist with a strong background in dental hygiene and a special focus on Myofunctional Therapy. She obtained her Associates Degree from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, GA, and furthered her education by earning a Bachelors of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Georgia Highlands University. In 2016, Renata was introduced to the field of "Myofunctional Therapy" during a continuing education class. Recognizing it as her calling, she was drawn to the therapeutic principles that align with her passions, including breastfeeding, early childhood development, and airway health. Having personally faced challenges as a mouth breather during her upbringing, Renata is particularly empathetic towards individuals dealing with myofunctional disorders. Her personal experience fuels her commitment to spreading awareness and knowledge about airway-related health issues. In 2021, Renata Nehme achieved certification in Orofacial Myology through the International Association of Orofacial Myology. Motivated to make a meaningful impact, she founded Airway Circle with the goal of establishing a collaborative and multidisciplinary community of health professionals who share her passion for learning and contributing to the fields of dental health and airway care. Renata's journey reflects her dedication to improving the understanding of Myofunctional Disorders and promoting holistic approaches to dental and airway health. Through her work with Airway Circle, she aims to create a supportive network of professionals committed to enhancing awareness and education in these crucial areas of healthcare.
