Lynne Nelson, SVP

Lynne Nelson started with Columbia Healthcare Banking in 2012. In her current role as Business Development Officer, she acts as liaison between her unique and highly qualified team of bankers and WSDA, all component societies, University of Washington School of Dentistry and Alumni Association, as well as Public and Private Study Clubs. As a frequent visitor of the dental school she teaches elective classes, interacts with students at lunch and learns, and several events throughout the year. Her passion is to support independent dentists in their pursuit of practice ownership. In 1996 prior to her banking career, she founded Practice Management Associates, a dental coaching and brokerage firm where she worked with hundreds of dentists in achieving their desired benchmarks in production, and collection. Lynne built strong teams through effective internal communication thereby lowering no-show and cancelations and improving case acceptance through educational case presentation. Lynne successfully gained her real estate license in 2002 and was educated and accredited to perform business valuations for Practice Management Associates. She used this knowledge to help hundreds more create exit strategies and equipped them through transitioning their practice while educating emerging dentists into private practice ownership.
