Kids who breathe poorly and have poor functional habits during growth years disrupt the natural development of the craniofacial respiratory complex. This produces adults with sleep breathing problems. Dentists are the only part of healthcare that can recognize and intercept these deficiencies when there is time to direct growth and establish proper habits for lifetime health. This talk will help dental teams who see children to identify risks and understand various means of addressing these concerns early in life.
