Supplies to bring: 1. Attendees provide their own patient models for the afternoon hands-on session. 2. All dentists who wish to inject patients at the event must demonstrate proof of holding a valid Washington State dental license or dental license in another state (Under state law -RCW 18.32.030, dentists from out-of-state are allowed to participate in continuing education events sanctioned by WSDA ) 3. All attendees must provide proof of current malpractice insurance in the form of a declarations page.
Additional Supplies to bring: camera (not phone), loupes or readers (optional), gloves if allergic to latex.
Learning Objectives:
Identify specific areas of the aging face and features that can be improved with tox treatment.
Discuss indications for therapeutic treatment with botulinum toxins in the head and neck.
Conduct a thorough patient consultation to evaluate the potential need for and assess the suitability of facial injectables.
Avoid, recognize and manage adverse events.
Demonstrate accurate photo-documentation and written documentation.
